McKenzie River Community Survey 2019

Collective Results from residents from Camp Creek, Cedar Flats, all the way east to McKenzie Bridge!

Congratulations to Wayne Hildebrand of Vida – Winner of the Drawing for participating. Prize was $150 Gift Card to Jerry’s Home Improvement.

The purpose was to collect insights to help me to create Community Video Presentations. Note that many businesses, clubs and organizations are not mentioned, merely because they were not mentioned in the collected survey results.  Please contact me to ask to be included in a final video presentation – Thank you!

Top 3 characteristics of the McKenzie River Valley

that drew you to live or purchase property

  • The Beauty of the McKenzie River and natural surroundings, resort-like beauty, views, rural setting with small rural communities, good to raise family, sense of community where you get to know neighbors and location is within an hour of town. USFS property across river and bordering many properties allowing the natural setting to be undisturbed.
  • River homes are what we love as a couple w/ children. Lack of people, lack of traffic, huge trees around my house, the critters and the price was right.
  • Outdoor recreation/amenities: excellent fishing, drift boating, rafting, hiking, biking, skiing, being in nature.
